As part of our fund raising efforts for vizslas who require help financially we have a yearly sponsored walk.
Just as a reminder we (as well as other vizz whizz groups around the country) raise money for; vizslas within our groups that are very ill and require money towards their vets bills, vizslas who need financial support from being rescued within the UK plus the vizslas who we see overseas who require financial help in being homed in the UK.
It will take place on the 4th October and we will start our walk at 10:30am.
We will be walking some of the North Norfolk Coastal path - from Brancaster to Wells which is 12.9 miles. The whole route can be found here and we will meet along the road heading down the beach next to the church (on your right)
If you wish to leave your car at Wells then you can get a coastal hopper bus (dog friendly) to Brancaster at 9:43am from Wells Ark Royal and then walk back to your car or you can park at Brancaster and get the bus back (its up to you).
I will provide maps and I am going to arrange some support re. tea, coffee and refreshments (sausage rolls & cake) feel free to bring a lunch on top of this if you wish.
To support this walk it is £20 per person plus any money you wish to raise for our charity. To enter please email me the following details:-
- name
- contact email and phone number
- how many of you are walking including the number of dogs
- state the reference of your payment (surname)
Please send your entry fee to the following account online:-
Account name East of Eng
Sort code 400853
Account number 91308874
Please clearly state your surname in the reference so I can tie everything together.
As we are not a registered charity I'm unable to set up a charity fundraising page. So please either collect cash and pass it on to me and I will bank it OR feel free to collect cash or payments and then pay via online banking.
This was isn't just limited to vizsla owners, please feel free to spread the word to anyone that likes walking, with or without a dog!
Thanks
