There are loads of toys and treats on the market and with many not coming cheap I thought I would share my favourite toys (or should that be Poppy & Ozkar's favourite toys!) and treats for my vizslas.

Kongs - I have two sorts. The
Stuff a Ball and the original
Kong toy. The ball kong is great for adding treats to and the dogs love bouncing it around on the floor trying to get them out. The Kong toy well I use this for something a little different. I mix up some yoghurt and fill the the kong with this along with some chopped carrot and / or dog treats then stick it in the freezer. Once frozen this is not only a great healthy treat but also keeps by vizslas entertained for quite a while.
Nylabones - As my dogs love chewing I have recently tried the
Nylabones. Obviously more expensive than raw hide chews these are non consumable chews which should last a good while while the dogs enjoy chewing on a bone. It is early days but so far so good, they are still in one piece!
Raw hide Chews - Probably Poppy & Ozkars favourite treats (other than cheese) is a
rawhide chew. Although they are not very long lasting, they don't cause any mess and come in all sizes and options, from sticks to shoes!
